California Judge Awards State $14M In Prejudgment Interest In Stringfellow Dispute

(August 18, 2015, 11:59 AM EDT) -- RIVERSIDE, Calif. — A California state court on Aug. 11 awarded the State of California almost $14 million in prejudgment interest in an environmental contamination suit arising out of cleanup costs at the Stringfellow Acid Pits Superfund site (State of California v. Underwriter’s at Lloyds, et al., No. 239784, Calif. Super., Riverside Co.).
