Federal Judge Dismisses Indian Tribe’s Challenge To ACA Large-Employer Mandate

(August 17, 2015, 2:13 PM EDT) -- CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Federal law blocks an Indian tribe’s challenges to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) large-employer mandate, which would clearly apply to the tribe anyway, a federal judge in Wyoming held July 2 (Northern Arapaho Tribe, et al. v. Sylvia Burwell, et al., No. 14-247, D. Wyo.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 30480).
