Judge Substantially Denies Motions To Dismiss In Securities Class Action

Mealey's (August 14, 2015, 12:29 PM EDT) -- LOS ANGELES — A federal judge in California on July 13 substantially denied motions to dismiss filed by defendants in a securities class action lawsuit, ruling that the lead plaintiff has properly pleaded an actionable misstatement and scienter in making his federal securities law claims (In re CytRx Corp. Securities Litigation, No. 14-1956, C.D. Calif.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 91447).
