Plan Language Supports Denial-Of-Benefit Conversion, 10th Circuit Rules

Mealey's (August 10, 2015, 11:24 AM EDT) -- DENVER — A multiemployer pension plan did not violate its plan terms by refusing to allow a participant to convert the pension benefits he previously elected from an early retirement pension to a disability pension, the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals affirmed July 29 (Joseph E.
