Agency: Drinking Water In Wyoming Town Affected By More Than Fracking

(November 29, 2016, 2:32 PM EST) -- CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ) on Nov. 7 issued a final report on its investigation into possible drinking water contamination from hydraulic fracturing wells in Pavillion, Wyo., concluding that no organic compounds were identified at concentrations exceeding applicable drinking water standards, and all organic constituents identified in groundwater samples may have originated from a multitude of possible sources, including spills, oil and gas activities, agricultural chemical applications and other residential and industrial uses....
