Water Crisis Defendants Seek Stay Of Ruling Requiring Delivery Of Bottled Water

(November 18, 2016, 2:44 PM EST) -- DETROIT — The Michigan state treasurer and members of the Flint Receivership Transition Advisory Board (FRTAB) on Nov. 17 filed a brief in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, seeking an emergency stay pending appeal of the District Court’s decision that ordered the defendants to provide bottled water to every house in Flint, Mich., in response to the lead-contaminated water crisis (Concerned Pastors for Social Action, et al. v.
