Government: Birth-Control Mandate Opt-Out Doesn’t Facilitate Coverage

Mealey's (June 12, 2015, 8:36 AM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — Signing a form objecting to providing contraceptive coverage does not facilitate coverage by third parties, who may choose to provide such coverage under separate regulations, the government told a Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel June 10, 2014 (Geneva College, et al. v. Kathleen Sebelius, et al., No. 12-207, W.D. Pa.; 2013 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 179476).
