5th Circuit Affirms Summary Judgment In Medical Malpractice Suit
(November 8, 2016, 1:09 PM EST) -- NEW ORLEANS — A Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on Oct. 25 affirmed summary judgment in favor of a hospital in a medical malpractice suit because the plaintiffs did not raise an issue of material fact that a doctor at a hospital failed to properly examine their child (Danny Fewins, et al. v. Granbury Hospital Corporation, et al., No. 16-10192, 5th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 19428).
