Supreme Court Rejects Case Challenging 5th Circuit Ruling Vacating Remand
(November 2, 2016, 12:51 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The nation’s top court will not review a Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling a widow claims erroneously vacated remand of her asbestos case after confusing the standards for exposure at a shipyard with a manufacturer’s products liability standard, the court said Oct. 17 (Lorita M. Savoie, et al. v. Huntington Ingalls Inc., et al., No. 16-226, U.S. Sup.).
