Hoopa Valley Tribe Opposes Dismissal, Stay Of Suit Involving Klamath Diversions

Mealey's (October 31, 2016, 8:51 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A California Native American tribe on Oct. 19 opposed a motion by the United States to dismiss or stay its action related to the diversion of water from because it says violations of federal law are ongoing and are affecting endangered salmon on which the tribe depends (Hoopa Valley Tribe v. U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, et al., No. 16-4294, N.D. Calif., San Francisco Div.).
