North Carolina State Judge Dismisses Claim Against Window World Franchisor
(October 28, 2016, 2:22 PM EDT) -- WILKESBORO, N.C. — A North Carolina Superior Court judge on Oct. 25 dismissed with prejudice a restraint-of-trade claim in two lawsuits against America’s largest replacement window company, saying that licensing agreements are unambiguous and tell the plaintiffs that they would be required to purchase exclusively from approved vendors (Window World of Baton Rouge LLC, et al. v. Window World Inc., et al., N.C. Super., Wilkes Co.; 2016 NCBC LEXIS 82).
