Tribal Leaders Oppose High Court Review Of Dismissal Of Suit Challenging Casino

Mealey's (July 20, 2015, 11:40 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Tribal officials of the Kialagee Tribal Town on July 10 urged the U.S. Supreme Court to deny a petition for writ of certiorari filed by the State of Oklahoma seeking to overturn a 10th U.S. Court of Appeals decision dismissing its case challenging the tribe’s attempt to build a casino on land owned by another tribe (State of Oklahoma v. Tiger Hobia, et al., No. 14-1177 U.S. Sup.).
