United States Seeks Dismissal Or Stay Of Tribe’s Water Delivery Lawsuit

Mealey's (October 6, 2016, 12:17 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — The United States on Oct. 5 moved to dismiss or to stay a lawsuit filed by the Hoopa Valley Tribe to stop two federal agencies from making water deliveries to the Klamath Irrigation Project for the benefit of a threatened salmon species (Hoopa Valley Tribe v. U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, et al., No. 16-4294, N.D. Calif., San Francisco Div.).
