Colorado Supreme Court: Club’s Water Applications Aren’t ‘Beneficial’

Mealey's (July 15, 2015, 2:09 PM EDT) -- DENVER — The Colorado Supreme Court on June 29 reversed a water court’s approval of two water applications filed by a private club, saying the club failed to show that the water would be put to beneficial use (St. Jude’s Co. v. Roaring Fork Club, L.L.C., No. 2015 CO 51, Colo. Sup.; 2015 Colo. LEXIS 588).
