Widow Asks Supreme Court To Review 5th Circuit Ruling Vacating Remand

(September 27, 2016, 1:00 PM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — A woman on Aug. 16 asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review a case, saying the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals erroneously vacated remand of her asbestos case after confusing the standards for exposure at a shipyard with a manufacturer’s products liability standard (Lorita M. Savoie, et al. v. Huntington Ingalls Inc., et al., No. 16-226, U.S. Sup.; 2016 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 3191).
