Fracking Company Intervenes In Water Case, Then Moves To Dismiss In Federal Court

Mealey's (July 15, 2015, 12:57 PM EDT) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — A week after an Ohio federal judge allowed fracking company Antero Resources Corp. to intervene in a water agreement dispute between the Village of Barnesville in Ohio and another fracking company, Antero on July 9 moved to dismiss the case, suggesting that it be refiled in Ohio state court (Gulfport Energy Corporation v. Village Of Barnesville, Ohio, No. 15-780, S.D. Ohio, Eastern Div.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 86551).
