Tobacco Company Seeks To Stop 2nd Circuit Review Of Trafficking Claims

Mealey's (September 14, 2016, 8:36 AM EDT) -- CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. — A Native American-owned tobacco company on Sept. 2 asked a federal judge in New York to stop the State of New York from appealing the court’s decision to dismiss trafficking claims against it (State of New York v. Mountain Tobacco Company, d/b/a King Mountain Tobacco Company, Inc., No. 12-cv-6276, E.D. N.Y).
