7th Circuit Affirms Denial Of College’s ACA Preliminary Injunction

Mealey's (July 8, 2015, 12:47 PM EDT) -- CHICAGO — The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) accommodation for those who object to providing certain contraceptives relieves a college of the obligation to do so, a Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel held July 1 in affirming denial of a preliminary injunction (Wheaton College v. Sylvia Mathews Burwell, et al., No. 14-2396, 7th Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 11369).
