Panel Dismisses Group’s Case Opposing Fracking Permit, Says It’s Not Appealable

(August 24, 2016, 1:15 PM EDT) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio appeals panel on Aug. 16 ruled that an anti-fracking group could not appeal a drilling permit because the order granting the permit was not appealable under Ohio law (Athens County Fracking Action Network v. Richard J. Simmers, et al., No. 16AP-133, Ohio App., 10th Dist., Franklin Co.; 2016 Ohio App. LEXIS 3269).
