Fracking Company: Court Should Grant Summary Judgment Motion; Case Is ‘Moot’
Mealey's (August 8, 2016, 10:27 AM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — A hydraulic fracturing operator sued by a company that purchases royalties and mineral rights for oil and gas exploration on Aug. 5 filed a brief in Oklahoma federal court contending that it has not made “multiple misstatements of fact and law” and arguing that it has submitted documents supporting its motion for summary judgment (Chieftain Royalty Company v. SM Energy Company, et al., No. 11-177, W.D. Okla.).
