3rd Circuit: Parties Have No Right To Intervene In Fracking Well Dispute
(August 5, 2016, 3:44 PM EDT) -- PITTSBURGH — A panel of the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on July 27 issued a judgment affirming a Pennsylvania federal judge’s ruling that two local environmental advocacy group were improperly granted the right to intervene in a hydraulic fracturing case regarding underground injection control (UIC) wells (Pennsylvania General Energy Company LLC v. Grant Township, et al., 3rd Cir., No. 15-3770).
