Ohio Federal Judge Denies Injunction Against 2015 Clean Water Rule

Mealey's (April 9, 2019, 2:42 PM EDT) -- CINCINNATI — After a four-year journey that indirectly went through the U.S. Supreme Court, an Ohio federal judge on March 26 denied a motion by three states for a preliminary injunction against the Clean Water Rule:  Definition of "Waters of the United States," 80 Fed. Reg. 37,054, June 29, 2015, finding that the states failed to show that they will suffer irreparable harm while the current administration wrestles with the creation of a new rule (Ohio, et al. v.
