Mealey's (April 12, 2018, 11:59 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — Although dismissing allegations by one plaintiff that LegalZoom.com Inc. violated the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1051 et seq., when it advertised itself as a non-practicing legal entity, a California federal judge on April 11 stayed identical claims by a co-plaintiff, in view of an arbitration agreement between the parties (LegalForce RAPC, et al. v. LegalZoom Inc., No. 17-7194, N.D. Calif., 2018 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 60986)....
