Mealey's (March 10, 2020, 2:07 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Supreme Court on March 9 declined review of a 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling that a defendant in a Securities and Exchange Commission administrative proceeding failed to properly raise an objection under the appointments clause of the U.S. Constitution pertaining to the constitutionality of the appointment of the administrative law judge (ALJ) who oversaw the administrative proceeding (Dennis J. Malouf v. Securities and Exchange Commission, No. 19-909, U.S. Sup.)....
