Mealey's (May 3, 2019, 12:18 PM EDT) -- BATON ROUGE, La. — No coverage is owed to an insured seeking coverage for an oil spill because the policy’s pollution exclusion clearly bars coverage and the insured failed to provide timely notice of the spill pursuant to the policy’s buyback exception to the pollution exclusion, a Louisiana federal judge said May 1 in granting the  insurer’s motion to dismiss (Apollo Energy LLC v.
