(October 30, 2018, 12:57 PM EDT) -- HONOLULU — A Hawaii state judge on Oct. 12 granted preliminary approval of a settlement not to exceed $4.5 million to be paid by a sushi chain and its seafood suppliers to end claims that a hepatitis A outbreak in 2016 was the result of food consumed at 13 of Genki Sushi’s restaurants in Hawaii (In Re: Hepatitis A Cases, No. 17-1-HEP, Hawaii 1st Cir.)....
