Maryland Panel Affirms Allocation Method Applied In Lead Paint Dispute

Mealey's (October 18, 2019, 2:21 PM EDT) -- ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland Court of Special Appeals on Oct. 15 affirmed a trial court’s finding that a pro rata time-on-the-risk method of allocation applies in a lead paint poisoning coverage suit, but determined that the trial court erred in finding that one of the insurers owes coverage under one of its three policies for the underlying judgment entered against its insured landlords because the third policy was issued after the tenant was diagnosed with an elevated blood-lead level (Daquantay Robinson et al. v.
