Federal Magistrate Judge Recommends Granting Motion On Insurance Law Claims

(June 12, 2018, 1:54 PM EDT) -- BUFFALO, N.Y. — A New York federal magistrate judge on May 30 recommended that plaintiffs’ motions for summary judgment in an asbestos coverage dispute be granted on claims asserted under New York’s Insurance Law because the plaintiffs’ settlement agreements with the insured do not preclude the plaintiffs’ from asserting claims under Section 3420 of the law (Edna K.
