(September 13, 2019, 2:08 PM EDT) -- RIVERSIDE, Calif. — A California appeals panel on Sept. 12 upheld a lower court judge’s ruling granting a motion by a legal services owner to prematurely terminate his sentence for three years of probation after he pleaded guilty for his role in a workers’ compensation fraud scheme, finding that the prosecution was not deprived of the material terms of the defendant’s plea bargain (People v.
