North Dakota, Texas Seek Resolution To Fracking Rule Case Prior To January 2018

(June 12, 2017, 7:27 AM EDT) -- CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The states of North Dakota and Texas on May 9 filed a brief in Wyoming federal court contending that it is “extremely important” that the briefing schedule in their lawsuit against the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) related to the implementation of a new federal rule on venting and flaring oil and gas produced from hydraulic fracturing resolve the case prior to January 2018 (State of Wyoming, et al. v.
