(September 25, 2019, 12:46 PM EDT) -- RENO, Nev. — A Nevada federal judge on Sept. 19 preliminarily approved the settlement of a seven-year-old class action against online retailer Zappos.com Inc. over a 2012 data breach, under which the settlement class members will each receive a one-time discount code that they can use to make online purchases from Zappos (In Re Zappos.com Inc., Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, No. 3:12-cv-00325, D.
