United States Asks Court To Force Tobacco Company To Pay Fine With Interest

Mealey's (July 8, 2016, 1:10 PM EDT) -- SPOKANE, Wash. — The United States on July 5 asked a federal judge in Washington in a motion for summary judgment to force King Mountain Tobacco Co. Inc. to pay $6.3 million in statutory assessments and late payment interest (United States of America v. King Mountain Tobacco Co. Inc., No. 1:14-cv-03162-RMP, E.D. Wash.).
