Senators Urge Agency To Set ‘Robust’ Rules For Fracking On Public Lands
Mealey's (July 25, 2015, 9:01 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A group of U.S. senators on Sept. 30, 2014, sent a letter to the director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), insisting that the final rule on hydraulic fracturing public lands must contain “stringent protections” for workers as well as for the air, water, land and public health.
