Government Agencies: Group’s Offshore Fracking Permit Claim Is ‘Moot’

(June 29, 2016, 2:35 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A group of U.S. Government agencies on June 27 filed a joint brief in District of Columbia federal court contending that a lawsuit brought by an environmental group regarding offshore fracking permits is “moot” (Center for Biological Diversity v. Sally Jewell, et al., No. 16-00738, D. D.C.).
