Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 4:40 PM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on Sept. 25, 2014, filed a brief with the Pennsylvania agency that governs hydraulic fracturing permit appeals, concurring with a group of environmental advocacy organizations that part of the DEP’s argument that it followed appropriate laws in granting a fracking permit was moot.
