Pennsylvania Agency Seeks More Than $4.53M In Penalties Against Fracking Company

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 4:36 PM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on Oct. 7, 2014, filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board (EHB) against a hydraulic fracturing company seeking civil penalties greater than $4.53 million for violations of state environmental laws (Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection v. EQT Production Company, No. N/A, Pa. EHB).
