Mealey's (June 21, 2016, 9:14 PM EDT) -- HONOLULU — An insurer filed a declaratory relief suit against a contractor in federal court in Hawaii on June 15, seeking a declaration that it has no duty to defend or indemnify the contractor in an underlying lawsuit concerning the death of an employee on a job site (State Farm Fire and Casualty Co. v. Saarman Construction Ltd., No. 16-0315, D. Hawaii).
