Oregon Supreme Court: Suit Over Siding Subject To 2-Year Limitations Period
(June 21, 2016, 11:56 AM EDT) -- SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon Supreme Court on June 16 affirmed an appeals court ruling that found that a couple’s lawsuit against a subcontractor that installed allegedly defective stucco siding was timely but held that the plaintiffs’ claims are subject to a two-year statute of limitations rather than a six-year statute of limitations (J. Michael Goodwin, et al. v. Kingsmen Plastering Inc., et al., No. SC S062925, Ore. Sup.; 2016 Ore. LEXIS 367).
