Court Properly Dismissed Securities Suit For Lack Of Scienter, Panel Rules
(June 17, 2016, 10:47 AM EDT) -- CINCINNATI — A federal district court judge did not err in dismissing claims in a securities class action lawsuit because the lead plaintiff in the action failed to properly plead scienter in making its federal securities law claims, a Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel ruled May 24 (Satish Doshi, et al. v. General Cable Corp., et al., No. 15-5621, 6th Cir.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 9480).
