Texas Judge Denies New Trial For Company Hit With $2.9M Fracking Verdict

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 4:12 PM EDT) -- DALLAS — The Texas state court judge presiding over a hydraulic fracturing company’s appeal of a $2.9 million verdict on Sept. 11, 2014, issued a one-sentence order denying the company’s request for a new trial (Lisa Parr, et al. v. Aruba Petroleum Inc., No. 11-1650, Texas Law No. 5, Dallas Co.).
