Texas Appeals Court: Oil Lease Did Not Terminate When Production Stopped

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 3:56 PM EDT) -- EASTLAND, Texas — A Texas appeals court on Oct. 31, 2014, ruled that an oil and gas lease pertaining to an 80-acre piece of land used for hydraulic fracturing did not terminate when an energy company had to cease production because of an equipment failure (Landover Production Company LLC v. Endeavor Energy Resources LP, et al., No. 11-13-00132, Texas App., 11th Dist.).
