Colorado Judge: City Of Fort Collins’ Ban On Fracking Violates State Law

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 3:51 PM EDT) -- FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A state court judge in Colorado on Aug. 7, 2014, ruled that the hydraulic fracturing ban passed by the City of Fort Collins, Colo., violated state law as well as Colorado Supreme Court precedent (Colorado Oil and Gas Association v. City of Fort Collins, No. 13-cv-31385, Colo. Dist., Larimer Co.).
