Judicial Panel Denies MDL For Cordarone, Amiodarone Federal Injury Cases
(June 6, 2016, 12:28 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A federal judicial panel on June 2 denied a petition to centralize 14 federal lawsuits alleging that various drug makers marketed the heart drug Cordarone or its generic version, amiodarone, for off-label uses to the detriment of patients (In Re: Cordarone [Amiodarone Hydrochloride] Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 2706, JPMDL).
