Texas Federal Judge Rules For Hospital In Bill Payment Dispute
(June 6, 2016, 12:12 PM EDT) -- HOUSTON — A Texas federal judge on June 1 ruled that insurers’ claims for reimbursement of overpayments made pursuant to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and/or common law fail and granted summary judgment to the defendant surgical hospital (Connecticut General Life Insurance Co., et al. v. Humble Surgical Hospital LLC, No. 4:13-CV-3291, S.D. Texas; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 71127).
