Arizona Repeals Law Requiring Outdated Mifeprex Abortion Protocol

(May 17, 2016, 1:29 PM EDT) -- PHOENIX — The Arizona Legislature on May 6 repealed a state law requiring abortion clinics to follow the original, outdated protocol for the abortifacient Mifeprex.

The Legislature’s action come after the Food and Drug Administration in March issued new guidelines for the use of Mifeprex.
