Illinois Federal Judge Dismisses Fraud Claims Over Foreclosure Of Horse Farm
(May 16, 2016, 9:03 PM EDT) -- CHICAGO — The manner in which the foreclosure of an Illinois horse farm occurred and the conversion of the farm into a forest preserve following foreclosure did not constitute fraud, an Illinois federal judge ruled May 9 (Meryl Squires Cannon, et al. v. Forest Preserve District of Cook County, Illinois, et al., No. 14-5611, N.D. Ill.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 60729).
