City’s PFAS Pollution Case Claims DuPont Transferred Assets Fraudulently

(December 2, 2022, 2:00 PM EST) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — On Dec. 1, the city of Bellbrook, Ohio, sued 3M Co., E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. and other makers of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in Ohio federal court contending that they are liable for groundwater contamination because they knew that PFAS, which are toxic compounds, would be released into the environment when used as directed by the defendants.  It also contends that DuPont fraudulently transferred assets to shield it from liability related to PFAS litigation....
