General Motors Will Face Product Defect Claims In Crash Suit
(May 9, 2016, 8:31 AM EDT) -- NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A federal judge in Connecticut on April 29 said General Motors LLC will face claims that a shift defect in a car it manufactured caused the death of an 8-year-old girl, after ruling that the testimony of two of the plaintiffs’ experts is admissible at trial (Bernard Pitterman, et al. v. General Motors LLC, No. 3:14-CV-00967, D. Conn.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 57165).
