Federal Court May Have Jurisdiction Over Groundwater In Walker River Decree

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 1:13 PM EDT) -- RENO, Nev. — A Nevada federal judge on May 28 said the court may have jurisdiction over the pumping of groundwater from the Walker River Basin (United States of America, et al. v. Walker River Irrigation District, et al., No. 3:73-127, D. Nev.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 69159).
