Mealey's (September 20, 2022, 4:04 PM EDT) -- HOUSTON — A commercial property insurer on Sept. 9 moved for a Texas appeals panel to reconsider its finding that the policy’s $4.5 million flood endorsement did not control the amount of coverage available for a nursing and assisted-living facility’s alleged business income and/or extra expense losses resulting from Hurricane Harvey, arguing that the basis for the panel’s ruling “is incongruent with established Texas Supreme Court case law and must be set aside to maintain uniformity among Texas courts.”...
